Father's Day 2026

The middle of the longest day of the year, also the start of Summer, also Father's Day.

I'm blessed to have two boys of my own, one of whom is a father himself.  And I was really, really blessed with a great father of my own.

William Warren Mitchell was born in the 30s and did many amazing things in his time on this Earth but he was also my father.  I do not think I could have appreciated that man rhe eay I do if I hadn't become a father myself with all the joy and challenges that come with it.

We buried my Dad back in 2018 and it still feels like I heard his voice yesterday.  To every Dad our there (and every kind of Dad), bless you and every moment you put into it.
